Include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the protected work; the exact URL of the challenged material and enough detail to locate it; your name and suitable contact details; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law; and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized representative.
We acknowledge and assess the notice, seek clarification if necessary and act expeditiously where removal or restriction is warranted. We may temporarily restrict content during review. We consider applicable rights, licenses and exceptions; a notice is not an automatic legal determination. We explain the outcome where lawful and practicable. We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within two business days and to complete our review within seven business days; these are service targets, not extensions of legal deadlines, and we tell you if a notice needs more time.
